Cleveland Central High School

Lexi | CCHS | 2019 Senior

Yay! I finally have the time to sit down and blog about Lexi’s senior session. Did I mention that she has a transformer during her senior session! (Duh not a real one but super close) Yes! When Lexi told me to come to her home to photograph her and the 18 wheeler I was like “whaaaattt” but my motto is let the seniors design their sessions it is all about them, in 20 years when Lexi looks back and she has portraits of her on her dad 18 wheeler it will mean so much to her. Did I mention that we also got to go to this super cool spot and the owner let us use his stage for photographs! Check out the ones with the mic. I photographed Lexi at her home with all the things she grew up around. Enjoy a few images from her senior session!

Lexi has a king she has an old soul inside of her, she is always smiling, well actually she has a HUGE smile whenever I see her. Lexi will be attending The University of Southern Mississippi where she will study law.

Lexi always remember you are the future, you have the power to become anything you want to be and there is no limits to what you can change in this world it was an honor to photograph you!

P.S Your 18 wheel rocks!!

Patrick Davis Jr | CCHS | 2019 Senior

This year I was blessed to have so many wonderful people on my Senior19Team. It allowed me to meet some pretty amazing people. I met Patrick Davis Jr, a 2019 senior, PJ is funny, he keeps everyone laughing. When PJ told me he was interested on being on the senior team I thought no way He’s a guy, the first guy ever on one my teams. Patrick is a ray of sunshine, he has a big beautiful heart, along with a wonderful smile that lights up the room. He has some of the most amazing supportive parents you will ever meet. Patrick is the class President at CCHS for the seniors, he lift weights, runs, and plays football. Pj has been accepted in to one of the best universities in the US Morehouse college , PJ plans to attend and become a anesthesiologist. Young men like PJ are the future, it is our jobs to guide them to ensure a better future for us all. I can tell you PJ will make an amazing impact in this world. So proud to say I was able to photograph him, one day when he tells his story and points to his canvas everyone will see what a bright young man PJ has always been. So proud of you PJ. It has been my honor to capture your senior year! Enjoy some of his parents favorite from his senior session!

Camryn Hickman | CCHS | 2019 Senior

Camryn is a member of the Senior19Team. When Camryn joined the team she was super shy, all her mom wanted was for her to get out more and meet others, along with building her confidence. Camryn tries her best to be at most of our team events like the color rad shoot, spring shoots, cookie baking, skating ring ect. I could not believe this was the same super shy girl at her senior session, she brought some of the cutest outfits ever and absolutely slayed her session! I cannot tell you how happy I am to have her on the team. You rock Cam! Enjoy some of the sneak peek from her session!

Rebecca's Senior Session | Downtown Cleveland MS, | Class of 2019

Rebecca had her senior session with me over this past month, I absolutely adored her session and the different styles she brought to the session. Rebecca brought multiple outfits including her dance outfit since she has been a dancer since 7th grade. She also wanted to do some portraits in front of her job A La Carte! I loved the blue table it added a pop of color with her all black outfit

1920s Theme Great Gatsby

For this senior model shoot I wanted to do something different. I have always loved the idea of the Great Gatsby. The gals and boys did an awesome job at portraying this theme for our group shoot. The day before the shoot I located this antique phone that was perfect for the session. In some of the photos you will see PJ tellig us “Hold up I’m on the phone” some you will see us laughing. It is always a lot of fun getting together with the team and creating something fun. This has been one of my favorite sessions with them.

Best Friends Forever - Summer Gals 18

When I launched the Summer Gals program I kept in mind that  I wanted girls up to 11th grade in mind. Often times when you look back at your portraits in years to come there is a huge gap between the age   12-16  just poof not there. I wanted all the girls to have photos of that middle year, especially with the people they considered their BFF. I Summer Gals had a blast. I also would like to thank Delta Dairy in Cleveland, MS for letting us use their store, the girls absolutely loved! your amazing ice-cream.

Mission accomplished, the Summer Gals made new friends from near and far, they were all responsible and sweet to each other. I can't wait to see what next year will bring for our new Summer Gals.

Thank you to all of the awesome moms that helped with making Bras, showing up to shoots, and those who endured the delta bugs! You all did so fantastic. I am sure your girls will appreciate you for doing this. Check out some of the images from our shoot!

Summer Gals -Glam

This summer i decided to launch a Summer Gals program from teens from 7th - 10th grade. I loved the idea of working with girls between 7th and 10th grade, often times they are forgotten when it comes to portraits. You often look back and you have photos of you as a kid, senior, and then wedding but nothing in between that teen year where it matters. These are some of the goofiest times and should be documented! With this program I wanted diversity, girls from everywhere not just popular girls but just your everyday girl that you were in middle school braces and all.

We started the day early with hair and makeup, Makeup by our awesome Makeup artist Lauren, and one of my Senior19Team member Camryn helped out with hair that day. Can I just tell you how much fun it was ? These girls bonded like they were best friends, everyone was really nice. Moms were right there the entire time helping out with blow dryer, styling outfit it all turned out perfect.

I have to give a big shout out to Beth who owns the Rustic nail in Cleveland,MS for allowing us to use her store. Thanks again Beth you made this glam session awesome! all the girls loved your store.

This was about bringing a group of girls together and having a fun time, mission accomplished! I can't wait for all the other shoots the Summer Gals have planned. next is our Candy Land!

Senior19Team

This weekend I got to hang out with some of the members from my Senior19Team. We had a pretty good time despite the heat in Cleveland,MS. We started the day with hair and makeup and some pizza. This was our get together for our spring session! (Can't wait to post those) while everyone was getting hair and makeup we did our shoots in our Custom Hadonica's Photography T-Shirt. Each senior on the team gets one of these with their names on the back. Check out some of the photos of us getting ready and meet the team!.

Thanks,

xoxo

BFF Session for Senior18Team

Before my team  graduates this year I wanted to gift them something special, a best friend shoot.

I do it because I want them to know the importance of photographs. During high school we all have that friend that no matter what we can call on. After high school we sometimes head in different directions due to school, jobs, families you know the adult stuff.

This was one of my ways of ensuring my team would have a photograph of their BFF in the years to come. In 20 years my girls will be close to 30.. Yes team 30! LOL They will look back at these photographs with their new family and even that same best friend  and reminisce about how much fun they had during their senior year, they can tell their kids all about how they picked their outfits, how they couldn't walk on the gravel in heels, and why they wore flower crowns. My goal with each team is to create memories that will last a lifetime. I love catching their genuine laughs those to me are the best!

Paint fight with Senior19Team

I am finally getting around to our Senior19Team paint fight. We had to reschedule due to our Mississippi weather being so crazy! The wait was totally worth it.

We hand made our powder paint from pinterest using starch and food coloring (Make sure to get the Gel kind) it is  totally harmless and washes out easily!  We found an empty field and loaded our cars up with paint and sheets so we wouldnt ruin the car of course. Then we got to throwing. The game plan was to space the powder out and grab a handful.... Well we ended up throwing the whole containers at each other so we ran out quick! If you ask me next time we would make more paint or use liquid paint! We are now prepping for our water balloon fight!

I love actives like this with my senior team, often time we are so busy that we barely get to have fun. We had to ditch the cell phones and run!
