Meet Alexis!

As women journey through life, we discover that age is so much more than a number. It's a testament to our strength, resilience, and wisdom. Society often tries to define us, but we are here to break those molds and celebrate our individuality. Let's embrace our birthdays as incredible milestones and cherish the blessings of another year.

Meet Alexis, a remarkable woman who recently celebrated her 40th birthday with us. She saw this milestone as a transformative journey filled with endless possibilities. Alexis recognized the power of women uplifting each other, providing mentorship, and becoming models of motivation. She wanted to inspire others to believe in their limitless potential.

ALEXIS’ Q&A:

One word to describe yourself. Why did you choose this word?

Resilient

As much as I would like to not be so resilient, I’ve survived and flourished after enduring some very challenging times. I’ve not only survived everything, but I’ve surpassed these challenges in hopes of being as positive as possible for any future obstacles.

Who are you as an individual?

I’m a woman who’s fueled by the notion that life can be whatever you make it. I see myself as a lifelong journey woman.

Why do you want to be photographed?

My only purpose was to have my pictures taken for my 40th birthday. My session literally blew me away.

In your opinion, what are some stigmas and beliefs that women face after they turn 30?

We start to be less beautiful. Our best years are behind us. You have to get married and have kids before 30. You have to live life to standards set forth by people who don’t know you. Everyone cares.

What advice do you have for other women in their 30s?

Be nicer to yourself. Love yourself entirely and on purpose. Learn who you are. Humans take on many roles, especially women. The worst thing you can do is live for others and one day wake up not knowing who you are and what makes you uniquely you.

What do you currently love about yourself?

I’m learning to live life at my pace and on my terms and I couldn’t care less what that looks like to others. I’m finally at the fuck it stage and I’m absolutely digging it.

No matter where you are, dream, and fight until it becomes a reality.
